Clearfield Glass Case Radio

Although it was received as a "Photo Review" contribution, we decided to feature Gordon Stanley's rare Clearfield set here in this short piece. (Editor)
This Clearfield 6-tube, TRF set has a plate glass case and a wooden base. The three dial knobs, which move the variable condensers horizontally for tuning, have calibration markings the full 360 degrees.
This set, with markings of "TRF-6-RC," was manufactured by the Sherman Radio Company, ca 1925.
